Sunday, July 12th. Be down at Kayak Pittsburgh by 1:15PM.

Enjoy the City of Pittsburgh from the water. We'll launch from the Downtown location (under the 6th street bridge) and spend 1-2 hours leisurely paddling up and down the Allegheny.

Kayak Pittsburgh will have single and tandem kayaks available. I think 1-2 hours of paddling fun will be plenty for everyone.

Kayak Pittsburgh will give us the Venture Outdoors member rates of $10/hr.

Things to know:

You will get a little wet throught the course of paddling, so it's best to wear sandals or water shoes. Sneakers would probably not be the best thing to wear.

Wear sunscreen! Bring a water bottle. If you want to bring a phone or camera, I suggest getting a waterproof bag. I do have a waterproof bag, but it won't be big enough for everyone's phones.

I'm sad that I won't make it but hopefully another time. Maybe in the fall when the weather is still nice and the trees are changing colors? Hope to see yinz soon.
