(Luau-themed) Pizza-Off

NOTE: This is a BYO chair, beer[tasting] and pizza event. Of course there will be enough to go around, but let's get a good variety. And, as usual, prizes for the best pizza (as judged by you) and prizes for the winning team of the super not-so-secret game.

Please also note that @gwenix is heading up the beer tasting portion of the event. Show up thirsty, and read more below.

BEER:

You're looking forward to stuffing your face with pizza, but that
could be dangerous. I mean, what if you choked or something? You'd
better have something handy to wash it down with. How about beer?
Everyone loves beer(*).

In addition to the pizza tasting, we'll be having a beer tasting!
Bring beer that goes with pizza, or beer that doesn't go with pizza.
Heck, bring beer that tastes like pizza (though some evidence suggests
that beer doesn't go with ANYTHING). Here's what you need to know:

- Plastic cups for tasting (and a church key for opening) will be provided.
- Blank ballots and pencils, and a containment device of some sort for
your voting convenience will be available nearby.
- A sharpie and some label/stickers for marking what your beer is if
it's something you made or brought in a growler.
- You should bring at least a 6 pack or a growler of whatever you
bring, so enough people can try it to potentially vote for it! There
will be prizes for the winner, and likely for runners-up also.

* Except kids. This is not an endorsement of underage drinking. Well,
they might love beer, but tough. None for them.


PIZZA

Same as last time: bring your favorite store-bought pizza; make your own specialty; or bring something else fun to eat. You'll be able to heat your pie up in the retro oven, or if Rob brings heat lamps.

We will "judge" the "best" pizza, and the winner will be handsomely rewarded - just ask Jami.

I know y'all will do me proud. Again.

I should be able to bring a growler or two of my Coalition Wee-Heavy; a Scottish style beer with Irish Whiskey soaked (Bush Mills) French Oak chips added to the secondary fermentor and aged for 3 weeks.

I'm not on a team yet. Shall I head up team 4, or does another team need a body (or two)? Won't be there until six or after, so if the games start earlier, we will just come spectate. And cheer!
